Welcome to the WRHAPS Website.

WRHAPS stands for ‘Wingrave, Rowsham and Hulcott against the Power Station’ and  was formed in July 2010 in response to a private developer’s plans to construct a Wind Power Station on farmland between the three villages. We oppose this scheme and believe it is vital that the community gains a full understanding of its potential impact.

Donations

Your donations to the WRHAPS Action Group would be most welcome.  At the moment we need donations to cover the costs of printing information leaflets, running the website, buying in expertise and other aspects of the campaign.  Should the proposal go to appeal, then it is highly likely we will need to undertake some serious fundraising.
